    2. Take 2-3 minutes to properly de-ice and remove snow from your vehicle before entering. Not only will you be safer, but your driving will be more enjoyable as well!<\/li>\n
    3. In addition to reducing your speed on the road, keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you.<\/li>\n
    4. Make sure to turn on your sidelights and low beams (the “low” ones) when it is dark.<\/li>\n
    5. Postpone your trip if the conditions are bad.<\/li>\n
    6. Take the time to put together a winter kit. You will be proud of yourself in a few months when you will need it! This kit should contain at least: a snow brush, a scraper, a windshield washer, and a shovel. If you feel up to it, then add: a grip plate, a blanket, a candle with matches, water and energy bars. Also include a first aid kit, emergency phone numbers featured on your cell phone or written on a piece of paper stored in the glove compartment and signaling accessories. You will gladly thank yourself!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
