Lift kits are the pinnacle for truck enthusiasts. But, they demand expert installation and sometimes additional modifications, and the right vehicle. Suspension lift kits are a necessity for oversize tires and to provide additional clearance for obstacles in the road. Not to mention, they make your truck impressive!

When selecting a lift kit, remember that your truck suspension has two primary functions – to support the weight of the truck and to stabilize the truck while driving. Adjusting the suspension of your vehicle with a lift kit will obviously impact these functions.

You should also consider that your suspension cushions the chassis from road shock any time you add weight, you’re altering the suspension. For instance:

  • Transportation of a trailer
  • A box full of equipment
  • The addition of a salt spreader at the back
  • The addition of a snow shovel or a winch at the front

To maintain road comfort and to support the added weight, we suggest you improve the quality and efficiency of your suspension in the following ways:

  • Improve your shock absorbers
  • Adding leaf spring helpers
  • Adding torsion bars
  • Adding a lift kit and leveling kit

Also, you may need to add mud guards and fender flares to comply with road safety laws.
